Category: Note

The quiet stuff — half-thoughts, observations, scraps, and little ideas you don’t want to lose.

Notes are your softer, slower posts:
the thoughts that show up when you’re walking home, the lines that don’t quite fit anywhere else, the “I’m not making a whole post about this but also I need to put it somewhere” moments.

They read like:

margins of a notebook

late-night brain spirals

political feelings you’re not ready to turn into a Dispatch

tiny stories

things you noticed about a neighborhood corner or a meeting or a person

fragments

They’re not polished — and they don’t need to be.
They’re the personal layer under everything else.

Tone:
gentle, candid, interior, a little poetic, a little messy-in-a-good-way.

If the site were a paper, Notes = the little column on page 2 where the writer talks like a human instead of a headline.
